We Supply Saracen Bikes Each Season
No worries about transporting your bike to IRELAND and assembling it. Our own mechanic services all of our bikes before every rental.
We can store any luggage and have a changing room free of charge
If required we will reserve Bed & Breakfast Accommodation in Limerick
All bikes rented from EMERALD can be returned to our head office in LIMERICK or anywhere in the country
All Bikes come equipped with mudguards, rear pannier carrier, repair kit, pump and securing lock
Bring your own helmet, as we do not hire them, it's also a good idea to bring your own repair tools.
All Bikes fully insured.
BAGGAGE -- We will store any baggage or luggage here in our Shop and have a changing room available free of charge. There is a lot of problems transporting baggage to diff erent locations. We do not recommend it.
MAPS -- The best route map is an Irish Ordnance Survey Map. It is the most detailed maps in Ireland. We recommend it. . We will help you here in our Shop to plan your route with detailed information.
VOUCHERS -- They are accepted in most businesses but there are problems, we recommend you use cash or Credit Cards. Travelers Checks are accepted most places
THE BICYCLES -- All our bicycles are Saracen they are the top quality bikes in Ireland and U.K. They are replaced every Summer. The quality is excellent. We in Emerald are a professional Bicycle Shop, we operate Rent-a-Bike all year round, most of our competitors only operate for the Summer Season.
BIKE HIRE -- All our bicycles can be rented and returned for an additional charge to any location in Ireland. This is where the expert's excel
ACCOMODATION. -- If required we will book the first night's accommodation for you in a Bed & Breakfast (B & B) or Hotel. The B&B's are great value and are of a very high standard i.e. -- €25.00 per night (Hostels start at €15.00). We only book B&B that we know are very friendly, in a quite location, central and good value. After the first night we recommend that you get from the Tourist Information Office which is 100m's from ou r shop the B&B Accommodation Guide. Ireland is sometimes referred to as the land of B&B's with this in mind you will have no problem in Summer time in getting accommodation. I recommend you book on a day to day basis
